A million federal employees participate each year in the Combined Federal Campaign. In the 2009 CFC, they pledged over $280 million in support of almost 2,400 national and over 20,000 local organizations.
We wish to thank the many PCFOs that have shared with us their detailed results. This information has allowed us to assemble a nationwide picture on how donors pledged in the fall of 2009. As of now, we are able to report on about half of all the money pledged across the United States and overseas. As we receive additional reports from other PCFOs, we will update our figures.
